Walton County Opens Vacation Rentals!

The Walton County Board of County Commissioners held an emergency meeting this afternoon to discuss the impending matter of lifting of the Short-Term Rental Ban.

Effective immediately, rental properties in Walton county are now open!

While we are still awaiting details, Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Gulf, Franklin & Bay County can now reopen vacation rentals. The decision is a part of Governor Ron DeSantis’ plans to move Florida to a full Phase 1 recovery response, which includes resuming short-term rentals on a case-by-case basis.
