Festivities Planned for Final YOLO Board Mileage Builder on Sept 8th

YOLO Board plans to end the 2012 YOLO Board Mileage Builder in style—with a special celebration to commemorate this year’s race season at the fourth and final race on Saturday, September 8th at the Baytowne Marina in Sandestin. The Mileage Builder includes a free pre-race clinic, a one-mile race, a four-mile race and a free kid’s race. Overall series winners in each division will be crowned following the competition.

In addition, YOLO Board will be offering the chance to win a 12’ YOLO Board Eco-Trainer Red Razor, a tapered down version of the best-selling 12’ Original perfect for core training and a challenging workout. All registered racers in the one-mile and four-mile races receive a free raffle ticket and will be entered to win the Eco-Trainer, valued at $1,395.

Presented by Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and Sandestin Real Estate, the 2nd Annual YOLO Board Mileage Builder Series featured a series of four endurance-building races from May to the final September race (rescheduled from August due to water conditions). Each race increased by one mile increments with the last competition a tough four-mile challenge.

The schedule for Saturday’s event includes registration at 8:00 AM, pre-race clinic at 8:30 AM, free kid’s race at 9:00 AM followed by the one-mile and four-mile races. Spectators are welcome.
