Celebrate the Choctawhatchee Bay at the Estuary Family Festival — April 25
The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance and Mattie Kelly Cultural and Environmental Institute will co-host the eighth annual Choctawhatchee Estuary Family Festival at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park on April 25, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The festival offers exhibits and activities that celebrate Choctawhatchee Bay. Admission is FREE!
Activities include wildlife displays and shows, kayaking and paddle boarding tours, guided trail hikes by local experts, touch-tanks with Choctawhatchee Bay aquatic species, fish-print shirts, kid-friendly crafts, scavenger hunts and more.
“We look forward to seeing the community come out to Fred Gannon and enjoy learning about the unique Choctawhatchee Bay estuary,” said Sarah Davis, the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance’s public outreach coordinator.
