Emerald Coast Paddleboarders Take On the Mighty Mississippi

A huge group of paddleboarders from the Emerald Coast will be heading out to the Big River Regional, a competition held on the mighty Mississippi River in Baton Rouge, La., on August 29.
30A Radio caught up with race directors Brian Prince and Walker Higgins to discuss the race and the big after party.
The event, sponsored by YOLO Board, will run approximately 13 miles on the largest river in America. The race is a regional World Paddle Association championship and covers the southeast areas including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
