Art Wave Exhibition to Benefit SWARA held January 10

The Henderson Resort and Spa will host Art Wave, an art exhibition dedicated to celebrating local artists seen at the resort and throughout South Walton. The event will be held Thursday, January 10 from 6-9 PM. All of the money raised through ticket sales and auction proceeds will benefit the South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA).

View live paintings and mingle with the featured artists, including Jeff Waldorff, John Maher, Justin Gaffrey, Lori Drew, Mary Hong, Melissa Mercer Brown, Tony Mennillo, and Velia Lala.

There will be light bites, refreshments, and a silent auction held throughout the evening. Select pieces from each artist will also be available for purchase.

SWARA is a non-profit aimed at the construction, deployment, and monitoring of permitted artificial reefs in Walton County’s Gulf of Mexico coastal waters in order to benefit the underwater habitat and ecosystem. There are presently four snorkel reefs and nine near-shore fish / dive reefs deployed off the South Walton coast in waters from 12’ – 60’ of depth.

Tickets are available for $40 and include full access to the sophisticated bazaar, food, beverage and entertainment while celebrating local artists at The Henderson.
