Amavida Coffee Named 2018 Micro-Roaster of the Year
Big things often have small beginnings.
Such is the case with South Walton’s Amavida Coffee, which has grown from a small, local coffee roaster supplying area businesses, to a regional roaster, retailer, and distributor of organic, fairly-traded speciality coffee and tea products.
And although they’re still a small company, big things are happening as they continue to grow into a national household brand. For example, Amavida Coffee was recently recognized as Roast Magazine’s 2018 Micro Roaster of the Year!
Roast Magazine is a national speciality coffee publication that not only assesses Roasterof the Year applicants based on the taste of their coffee, but also on their businesspractices.
This annual award recognizes Amavida Coffee for sustainability, quality of coffee, and commitment to their community, employees, and industry.
“For us, coffee is not just something we drink, a product we roast, or a project we support,” said Amavida’s Jennifer Pawlik. “Coffee is a vital influence in the lives of the people and cultures we represent and serve.”
[SIDE NOTE: The 30A Company is very proud to partner with Amavida Coffee to product our 30A Coffee products.]
Pawlik said the company thanks and dedicates their award to everyone involved in Amavida Coffee’s success, including their team members, their growers, and their communities.
