Alaqua’s Pet of the Week – Sweets

A very pregnant Sweets was rescued from the county shelter and delivered five precious babies upon her arrival to Alaqua Animal Refuge in Freeport.

Now that all of her babies have been adopted, this beautiful two-year-old Lab/Hound mix is ready to find a forever home of her very own. If her mothering skills are any indication, then she’ll be a loyal, loving and gentle dog.
