Nude Beaches on 30A? Local Bobby Johnson Reveals It All
30A’s longtime resident surfer, Bobby Johnson, chats with 30A Radio about what it was like moving to 30A in 1981 at 13 years old, riding horses and dirt bikes through what is now the booming beachside town of Seaside.
Johnson, who runs 30A Local Properties, also discusses the area’s present and future and shares some of the “creative” surfer nicknames for different beach accesses in the area: Fort Panic, Dump Road and Haunted House are among the more family-friendly ones. (His anecdote about some bathing-suit-free areas on 30A might surprise some, as well!)
